About me

marine d oultremont art therapeute psychologue psychotherapeuteI have specialized in integrative psychotherapy at UCL (Mostly cognitive behavioral therapy) after studying psychology. That includes different approaches that have in common to be evidenced based.

I do individual therapies at my office in a cozy environment. It is very important for me that you feel comfortable and feel free to talk about anything that you want. Feeling an interest in starting a therapy or feeling better is already the beginning of the process. We’ll have the opportunity to explore together your situation and expectations in order to identify what to work on.
During sessions, we’ll talk about it but also use tools from my specialization. It is very important for me to use tools that are evidence based that provide an efficiency.

I also work as a photographer and a painter. Therefore, I integrate some artistic tools within the therapy if it is relevant. It is never mandatory, everything we’ll do or talk about will be based on what makes sense to you. You’ll also have the opportunity to do zootherapy.

Couples therapy

When a couple’s situation is such that the two people can no longer put up with each other, or that communication becomes practically impossible or at the least is very difficult, then it is worth calling a counsellor to try and re-establish communication and review the problems.

A Psychologist’s way of treating stress and anxiety

Human beings are by nature frequently subjected to fear: a threatening situation, moments in life categorised by uncertainty, and apprehension – there are so many moments which generate a feeling of fear or danger. This danger can be real but also projected, imagined, or produced by traumas which are our own and which we haven’t been able to move on from.
